Durango Heritage Celebration October 07 2010 - October 10 2010
Harken back to the Victorian era in an Old West celebration set in a small historic town nestled in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado. The October Durango Heritage Celebration is a multi-faceted festival of Durango's colorful and diverse history. Our goal is to celebrate our town’s heritage, through these activities, and to benefit our community. The community-wide event offers a variety of activities sure to please ladies, gentlemen and children. It includes many opportunities for attendees to dress in period costume and be a part of Durango’s Victorian and Old West past, or to enjoy the ambiance in modern dress. Fall weather in Durango is typically very pleasant and offers opportunities for enjoying autumn color, both in town and in the surrounding mountains.
