Additionally, the Animas river offers some wonderful fishing along with beautiful scenery and can suit the need of any angler with access ranging from; walking distance from the Strater to secluded areas of the Weminuche Wilderness.
Fishing Licenses Anglers 16 years of age and older are required to have fishing license. Bag limits for anglers under 16 is half the normal daily bag and possesion limit.
