Durango Melodrama & Vaudeville

The Durango Melodrama & Vaudeville has been a part of summers in Durango for more than 50 years. The show is fun for the entire family with "Ole Fashioned" entertainment through Ragtime piano tunes and our Victorian style theatre. We hope you'll join us for our 2013 season set for June 21 - August 10 featufing Dirty Deeds at the Depot. The Diamond Belle sets the stage for a Western novel; a few noted personages have made the Strater their home away from home. Louis L'Amour said that the Ragtime music helped set the mood for his novels of the Old West. Indeed, a good part of his Sackett's novels were written at the Strater.
